The Health Professions Network's Jannell Lang Memorial Scholarship supports a HOSA-Future Health Professionals student with an interest in allied health professions entering a post-secondary health professions education program. The scholarship helps raise awareness of allied health professions with this group of future healthcare leaders.
The scholarship is named in honor of Jannell Lang, a board member of the Health Professions Network who passed away in 2011. Lang held many volunteer leadership positions throughout her career. In addition to serving as an HPN board member, she served as President of the National Network of Health Career Programs in Two Year Colleges (NN2) and as a commissioner for the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). The fund honors Lang's lifetime dedication to allied health education.
Your support is crucial to HPN's ability to continue to support this important initiative. Thank you!
