Session One: Introduction to Skills Based Talent Management
July 10, 2024 – 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm ET
During this session, participants will explore how our (very human!) biases impact hiring practices, and how to develop a more objective view of “fit.” We will also be introduced to practical skills-based talent practices – what they are, where they're most effective, and common outcomes once these practices have been implemented within an organization.
Participants will also have an opportunity to engage in a job-fit assessment themselves, in preparation for a review of results at our next session.

NEXT SESSION – Session Two: Career Navigation in a Skill-Based Talent System
August 14, 2024 – 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm ET
This session will emphasize the reality that career navigation happens through the tenure of one's career. With this view in mind, we will dig into the difference between moving from organization to organization vs. moving between different skills, roles, and responsibilities within an organization.
This session will also reserve time to review job-fit reports, measures, and rationales that have been generated since session one.

Session Three: Skills-Based Hiring
September 11, 2024 – 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm ET
This final session will put together the content from the previous two sessions within the context of change management. We will also supplement our group learning with practice opportunities for the use of skills-based hiring strategies, and an exploration of a few case studies and common outcomes when using a data-driven approach to recruitment and retention.
